30 in 30: Day Twenty
I've managed to catch up on the previous day to make it twenty paintings in twenty days so far, two thirds of the way there and just ten more to go!
Painting 20 is a view from near the Design House to one of the little squares. This is actually one of my favourite places in the whole of Bastakiya; last year, during Sikka 2015 in the middle of this square was a large format metal sculpture by renowned Emirati artist Mattar Bin Lahej. It was beautifully lit at night, emphasising the lines of the piece.
