Movement of Sound

“Movement of Sound” is a large-scale installation piece created for an underground music event. It is a visual representation of the way the frequency of sound waves increases and decreases as its source moves closer to and further away from the observer - known as the Doppler Effect.

It can be hung in a static fashion against a wall, or suspended freely to enable interaction and natural movement from the viewer and environment around it.

This piece is 4m x 4m and has been created from salvaged materials, mainly cardboard.
