100 Zayeds 100 Days challenge
#100Zayeds100days - day 33 - mixed media
I was planning this piece for a while now. It needed it, with 4 different papers painted and cutting and assembling all parts of the picture.
I was going for a simple but planned structure. Till the last moment I wasn'tsure about background. On the end the bright and textured paintes paper was a winner. It show offs Sheikh Zayed positivity, don't you think?
I am supper happy with this one. You can see all portraits from 100Zayeds

100 Zayeds 100 Days challenge
#100Zayeds100days - day 32 - acrylic painting
In this piece I am trying to concentrate on using expressive, loose marks and through them i am trying to show the connection between subject and its surrounding. You can see all portraits from 100Zayeds100days at my Instagram account @kasia_dzikowska #SheikhZayed

#100Zayeds100days - day 31 - pallet knife - acrylic
It's been great to work with pallet knife for last 4 days. I definitely picked up a thing or two and will definitely keep this technique in my repertoire. It also has been lovely seeing other peoples work on Leslie Satea's 30in30 challenge. You can see all portraits from 100Zayeds100days at my Instagram account @kasia_dzikowska #SheikhZayed

#100Zayeds100days - day 29 - pallet knife - acrylic
Second attempt at pallet knife painting. I really like how light green background makes this piece vibrant and rich in colour. You can see all portraits from this challenge at my Instagram account @kasia_dzikowska #SheikhZayed

#100Zayeds100days - day 27 - charcoal
I do enjoy working with charcoal. I like the speed of it, expressive marks, ease of changing the artwork around. For me, working on at least A2 scale is the best, it allows full expression and freedom that only charcoal can offer.
